Get Involved
The Lincoln Highway Scenic and Historic Byway Association is an organization geared toward all businesses and individuals involved in or affected by tourism.
There are several reasons to join:
Economic Development – The economic impact of tourism is certainly not limited only to tourist attractions. Through the development of tourism along this byway, communities as a whole will prosper.
Referrals – Members will be given the tools and knowledge to cross-promote other member businesses and attractions.
Networking – Regular meetings will allow members to share marketing methods and ideas and become familiar with each other’s businesses.
Marketing Efforts – The association maintains a Web site, places national advertising, and conducts a variety of other marketing activities to promote the byway’s attractions and businesses. This is made possible with the funding generated by association dues and federal grants.
Increased Tourism – With members working together to promote the byway and increase visibility of their communities, the association will be able to bring in more tourists.
Members will also be involved in regional meetings, attend statewide association gatherings, and vote on all association matters.
This is your opportunity to positively impact Nebraska communities along the Lincoln Highway and renew the spirit of this once well-traveled road. You can do more than tag along for the ride. Joining the Lincoln Highway Scenic and Historic Byway Association puts you in the driver’s seat, so get out there and claim your piece of the open road.
